Student Trainee Exchange Programme (STEP), allows participants to partake in an internship at a law firm or other company to be exposed to a real work environment. It is a platform for members to enrich their practical and technical legal skills as well as to gain international exposure. STEP aims not only to help participants develop the necessary skills for their future careers but also to give them first-hand work experience.
In ALSA STEP 2019, 3 institutions in Asia, Thomas Philip (Advocates & Solicitors) in Malaysia, International Dispute Resolution & Risk Management Institute in Hong Kong, and SCG Chemicals Co., Ltd. in Thailand, are available to application. Seize the opportunity to be exposed to a different atmosphere, as well as to develop your legal career as a future expert.
In ALSA STEP 2022, Due to the worsening pandemic situation and the institution only providing physical internships, Satyapon & Partners has announced that the institution will not be able to participate in our First STEP Round. Therefore, the Participating Partners for the First STEP Rounds are Thanlwin Legal and Tilleke & Gibbins.
