With regards to the procedures, the election of the President will be taking place in the Special Assembly on the 1st of September. The International Board Secretary-General will be distributing a further notice and agenda at least one week prior to the Special Assembly. For the Vice Presidents, the candidates will be recruited and appointed by the newly elected President later as prescribed in Article 9 Section 4.6. of the ALSA Constitution.
Therefore, the deadlines of application are as follows:
- President : 25th August 2019
- Vice Presidents : 1st September 2019
We do suggest for the candidates to conduct a Transfer of Knowledge by contacting the incumbent International Board officers. As well as for National Chapters to conduct a fit and proper test beforehand to make sure the candidate has meet qualifications expected.
